Dholera Allotment The land record
Edition2026-Q3 Last verified04 AUG 2026

Who signs it off

This page tells you who inside DICDL has the authority to approve a land allotment in Dholera, and the size at which that authority runs out. It matters because a very large parcel needs a board resolution rather than a committee decision.

No paid placement · No developer money · Nothing for sale

In plain words

The Land Management Committee can allot land up to 250 acres on its own authority. Above 250 acres, the approval of the DICDL Board is required. That single sentence is the whole of the rule, and it sits in the final section of the allotment policy. Two hundred and fifty acres is a little over 101 hectares, so almost every allotment in this register sits below the line.

Where the threshold actually bites

Almost nothing on this register crosses it. The largest single allotment to a company on record is the 66.166 hectare notified footprint, which is roughly 163 acres, comfortably inside the committee's authority.

The parcels that do exceed 250 acres are not company allotments at all. They are the transfers from the regional authority to the development company, one of 4,830.83 hectares as an equity contribution and one of 1,167.87 hectares inside the priority zone. Those are covered on the page about where the land comes from.

Why a threshold like this exists

It separates routine business from decisions with consequences. A committee that meets often can move quickly on ordinary plots. A parcel large enough to shape the region should carry a board resolution behind it, with the record that goes with one.

For anyone tracking allotments, it also tells you where to look. A very large allotment should leave a trace in board proceedings, not just in a committee file.

What the clause does not settle

It does not say what happens to an allotment split into parcels that individually fall below the threshold. It does not describe the committee's composition. Neither of those appears in the sections recorded here, and this register does not supply them from elsewhere.

The clause, word for word

Land management committee can allot land up to 250 acres whereas the approval of DICDL Board needs to be taken for allotment of land more than 250 acres.
