What an exclusion here means, and what it does not

It means one thing only: on that column, on that list, the source document prints no value. It is a statement about a document, never about a company, a firm, a holder or a project. This site publishes no negative characterisation of any real entity, and the only permitted form of words for an exclusion is the one used in the table above, that a criterion was not met.

Nothing is dropped either. Every record excluded from a ranked block still appears on that same list, below the ranked rows, marked UNKNOWN, and it keeps its own register entry and its own record page with the full source quote. A register that hides its empty rows is describing a tidier world than the one the documents describe.

How to get something onto a ranked list

Send the document. A correction or an addition is accepted when it names a public source, gives its page or clause, and quotes the sentence that carries the figure. That is the whole bar, and it applies to everybody equally: no holder can pay to be ranked, to be ranked higher, or to be removed. Corrections go to [email protected] and are logged on the change log with the date and what changed.
